Friday - Headed down to school early, so even though I couldn't find anything closer than Hawthorn, I was still at school super early. Chatted with Amanda and the former copyrighter before tutoring. Torts was a little boring, but someone got called on who wasn't prepared. Stopped at NE, but everything in the discount case was overpriced. I ate some bran dough at home, but then found myself monstrously sleepy, so I took a quick nap. By "quick nap" I apparently meant "Slumber of the Ages!" I even dreamed about being exhausted, and trying to walk/roll home from school. My phone buzzed, but I didn't answer it. Checked my phone later, and saw it was Ken that had called, but not left a message. I called him back, but he didn't leave a pick up, and I didn't leave a message. He called back a little later. Some plumber from Bill Howe was at the gate and needed to be let in. Got up and looked outside, but no one was there, and the gate was open. Mentioned this to Leo, who had talked to the guy and asked if he was with the same company as last time, and the guy, on hearing someone had already been there, had left. I ate a couple cookies, then Ken came home and called the guy back. I sat in our room with Cisco, and then Ken and I took him for a walk. I went ahead and showered, even though it was early, and it was dinner time. Ken kept asking what I wanted, and I kind of felt bad, because I didn't particularly want anything. On the other hand, when I say I have no preference beyond "vegan", I really mean that. He finally settled on Kemo Sabe. We got fuel first, then tried to find parking. I was successfully not hyper-critical about the spots we missed (when did I become THAT guy?), and we eventually found a spot. There was no wait for a table, and we got to sit in Leo's section. Ken got something with prawns, and I got the "Good Things Growing," their signature vegetarian entree that donates a portion of the proceeds to the HSUS. It was a lot of food, but all healthy and Ken had some. I thought about getting some of it boxed up for later, but Ken was still eating, I didn't want any wanting anyone commenting that it was SO much food even I couldn't finish it, and it's not like there was much left anyway. Ken did get the last little bit of his to go, and then a cup of coffee. Robert, the manager, brought us the Sorbet Trio, which was super tasty. I guess Leo told people that we were his roommate. They all asked who the bottom was, and when he told them to guess, I came out on Top 3/3 times. Hilarious. Stopped at CVS for toothbrushes, razors, and aftershave, then went home. Took Cisco out and tried to decide what to do with the evening. Ken spun some music, I had a cocktail, and suddenly Eric was there. Made him a drink, and we chatted while Ken got ready, talking about hair removal and roommates. We eventually made our way over to Rich's, where the music wasn't very good, but we stayed until after 1 anyway. Saw Justin & Philip there, along with some older positive gent by the name of Jim. Jim was very big on me always using condoms, so I didn't become + like him. When I told him 1) I always used condoms, and 2) that I was already +, he was still very sure of himself - "well, you know who to blame for that, don't you?" with a finger jabbing my chest. He was more than a little confused when I told him how I got it. Silly people thinking they know everything. We saw Andrew (Paul's roommate) there with some girl of his, and Eric really liked him, but he was condescending at best, if not downright cold. Just as we were about to leave, some guy said hi to Ken. Apparently, I've met this guy a million times, and Ken hooked up with him about 6 years ago, though he couldn't give any specifics on me meeting him or him hooking up. His good mood vanished after that, and he mentioned while talking about how he shouldn't have gone out at all his frustration at having to re-introduce me. I got mad at that, though we both did a good job of controlling our tempers. Successfully did not eat everything when we got home.
