VL 128k, CD4 426.
Feb. 20th, 2009 11:32 amThursday - Ken let Cisco out into the yard, we both got ready, and I headed into Contracts tutoring. It went well, and I have some questions to ask the Professor. I started working on my Westlaw Ceertification, but the one early person for the next class happened to have my seat. I moved over, but finally just went to the Library to finish. Stopped at Nature's Express on my way home, but they had nothing I wanted. Took Cisco out when I got home, then meant to do something for Contracts, but just laid next to him until it was time to go. Didn't really pay attention in K, but I did finish my notes from the morning. My phone rang while I was in class, and it turned out to be my Dr. Drove home, took Cisco out, listened to the message. CD4 is doing better, at 426, but my VL more than doubled to 128,940. Yikes. He wants me to come in again next month for more tests, and if there's no change, to talk about going on meds. I have no plans to start meds until I fully qualify from both CD4 and VL, but we'll see. Ken was home when I got back, and very loving when I told him my results. He'd also gotten his - no change in VL or CD4. I stumbled for a moment, but caught myself quickly. Even so, I'm not exactly a hard person to read. We talked about how the him probably having partial immunity, and how the same strain affects people differently depending on their genetics (I won the lottery!), and how the average time to go from infection to meds is 3-5 years. He made wraps after that, though mine was flakier and therefore messier, and he got ready for poker. I got ready after that, then walked over to TJ's, bought a white Zinfandel, and some cookies (Peppermint still $.99), and walked over to Babbo Grande. Drank my wine rather quickly, got introuduced to Justin and Chad, and had a good time talking with everyone. Tipsy Raphy finally opened my cookies, and everyone had some. I even gave some to the server and cooks! Kevin showed up already tipsy, and then had more wine. The boys decided to go to Bourbon, and on my way I ran into Jarrett & Rick, who decided to come with us. I rode with them, but didn't get a drink inside. The groups seemed to segregate themselves, and we left before they did. I got home just a little after 10, and Ken was already on the couch with Cisco. I took him out one last time, and we went to bed.
