Thursday - Dennis came into town in the afternoon. I attended the Contracts review session, which was pretty much a waste of time. Drove over to poker, where Dennis and Kenny were hanging out with Ken. Kenny bought me a drink, the boys requested some songs, and Kenny and I started up a conversation with a cute, if very tipsy gentleman by the name of...Charles? Something like that. Ken finished his game, and we all headed over to Betty's for another drink. I held the door for a young lady and her smoking partner, who turned out to be our bartender. I also tried to help her with the stuff she was doing, which she seemed delighted by. The boys bought another round of drinks, and I was pleased to see that she only charged them for a $3 nightcap for my vodka/diet. Went over to Numbers after that, which was funfunfun. I like the dancing there, and the vibe is very celebratory. Ken had to take a very very very drunk Kenny home, and Dennis and I stayed and chatted with Charles. I went ahead and disclosed to him...he declined to come home with us, but also declined to give a reason. I'm going to hope that it was just because he was too drunk.
