Betty's Anniversary
Nov. 20th, 2008 10:24 amWednesday - Having slept so poorly the night before, I really did very little with my day. Stayed home from school, drank some, napped around noon? Ate pretty much everything in the house. Stupid. Ken sent an e-mail later, mentioning an anniversary party at Baja Bettys that started at 7...I had rehearsal at 5:30, but figured I'd be done in time, and it was an opportunity to do something with him. He also asked how my day was going, and I responded that my day would have been better if I'd had a better night. I left early, so I could take some stuff to the APRL thrift store, and run by the WF in La Jolla before, and ended up driving off just as Ken was getting home. Thrift store didn't have any vases that jumped out at me, and WF didn't have bulk gluten. Damn. Got to rehearsal at 5:10, but I didn't see anyone else's cars, so I just sat in my car until 5:20, when I walked in to find most people there. We ran through everything, and they wanted to run it again, but I was going to be late as it was. Ran out to my car, only to find I'd locked the keys inside. Damn. Called AAA, only to find out that my membership renewal hadn't gone through. Damn. Hated to do it, but I called Ken to come get me. Damn. We changed at home, then headed over to the thing. I didn't expect there to be anything for me there, and there really wasn't - tortilla chips and cinnamon/sugar tortilla chips. Ate a little of both, but wasn't terribly concerned. Ken had been talking about how famished he was, but he only at a flauta or two, and a couple mini-tacos. We saw Jesse, as well as Mike, but opted not to stay anyway. I had figured we'd stay a little longer, but oh, well. Went home, went to bed.
