Finally settled.
Nov. 3rd, 2008 12:40 pmSunday - Woke up early, made the official shopping plans for the day, and headed out. First we went to the APRL thrift store to drop stuff off, but they were closed, despite their sign saying they were open. Then on to Linen's N Things, up in La Jolla, then over to Ross, then over to Marshall's, then back to Linens. He found some rugs he liked, and some shower curtains, and finally went ahead and bought them, since he had a gift card, and LnT are going out of business. We went to TGI Friday's for lunch, but they really didn't have anything, meal-wise, I could have. Our server was pregnant and nice, and the host was really cute, though he had a hipster-ish moustache that Ken didn't care for. I debated going over to TJ's, and buying a thing of Beefless strips, but didn't want to spend the money. Ken ended up getting a basket of sweet potato fries, which were supposed to be $1.5, but were really $2.5. Meh. Stopped back over at Linens one more time, and actually made the purchases he decided on, then stopped at the APRL thrift store once more on the way home. I thought about asking for two receipts, but ended up not. I went to rehearsal, where things are heating up and people are getting off book, then back home where Dallas was already over. We went out to Mo's for a little while, and then over to the taco shop, where Dallas bought me a burrito. Mmmm...burrito....I was a little tipsy, having pre-drank, and then been bought drinks by Dallas at Mo's, but not too drunk. Somehow, the topic of Scott came up - Ken feigned ignorance, or maybe really didn't remember, and I reminded him in detail. Of course, being a fairly private person, he was bothered by this, and told me so. I just said okay. We went over to Rich's, where things were kind of dead, and Ken started talking about it again. I got irritated that he was bringing it up, and we ended up bickering. Things were fine until then.
