Waste Of A Saturday

Saturday - We woke up good and early, though we didn't do anything with that time. Ken made his breakfast, and we headed up to Precision Tune, where my card saved him even more money than it saved me, then over to Target in my car to pick up some essentials. As soon as he got in, he started looking around my car, but I interrupted him the moment he opened his mouth, letting him know that he shouldn't criticize my car unless he wanted to walk to Target. We forgot a couple things at Target, and couldn't find a couple more, but we got most of it. His car was ready when we got back, so we headed home. We did a lot of nothing for a few hours, though his phone would buzz every now and again...I heard him talking to Justin in his room, then he came out and started getting dressed, and asked if I was coming....um...sure...where? to what? Explanation followed, and we headed out to meet Justin for food and drinks. We ended up at Universal, though that proved to be a mistake, since they had their "Oktoberfest" menu, and weren't serving the regular menu. Ken had a sample plate of the stuff, but didn't care for it. he got a cosmo for himself and a diet soda for me, despite my protests. I really just wanted water, but it was really sweet of him to get, so I just said "thank you." Justin eventually joined us, and there was talk of going to Martini's, but we'd been there long enough that they were going to start their dinner menu soon. Ken ordered soup and sammich, and they brought out some bread with pesto on the side....I ended up having two slices, even though I had my reservations about eating anything. We finally headed home, where Dallas eventually joined us, but still did nothing with the rest of the evening. Bah.
