Eat Your Heart Out, Zellwegger

Woke up with my alarm, sent the "out sick" email, managed to doze off a bit more. I made us coffee in the morning and we went for a walk around. A very different place during the day. But still very few shops and things. I texted around with Chip and my mum, we went to a waffle place for Jim. Unfortunately, their only waffle iron broke in the middle of a rush, so they ended up using a brulee torch to finish his waffle rather than just refund it. Ugh.

We met Chip at a *very* crowded Pike Place market, then walked over to the ferry landing to meet my mum. As she walked off the ferry, I happened to notice that she was wearing a lime green sweater and a blue shirt. Which is amazing because I was wearing a blue sweater and a lime green shirt. And that's one of my favorite fashion maneuvers ever.

We walked over to Ruby Tuesdays (?) for lunch, I happened to see one of my friends from San Diego there. I get around. Chip paid for lunch and walked us a little ways around, but eventually had to get back to the ferry. My mum walked with us even longer, mostly just not wanting the day to end more than having a destination in mind. Once she mentioned that we'd come a very long way, so we should probably take pics of the pigeons, which is a reference to my high school trip to France. I was delighted at how well fed their pigeons were, so I mostly took pictures of them. We stopped into a toy store later and I saw her looking at the Necco wafers, but she protested she didn't "need" them. I had asked about want, not need, so I bought them for her.

We got her to the ferry just in time for her to not have to wait another hour and a half, then back to the hotel. I blew Jim, we napped briefly, then got ready for the Bachelor Party. The hosts had a lot to do, so kind of understandable they weren't being terribly communicative. On the other hand, if you host an event and don't have a formal invite anywhere, you should expect questions.

We finally made it there, but the "party" turned out to be a few older gents hanging out in a hotel room and drinking. I was charming, of course, and mysterious, as Jim hadn't taken his wedding ring off. The "party" winded down, a couple people got pretty drunk, and we Ubered home. Then made a video of him fucking me before bed. All in all a successful day.
