I had a couple missed calls - one from my mum and one from Kenneth. I messaged both of them, but only my mom responded. She's going to end things with Mike, and requested I call my cousin, Josh.

The other day at the store I heard Echosmith's "Cool Kids," and while I enjoy that track, I always think of Blondfire's "Where the Kids Are" when I hear it. Except I couldn't. I knew there was a song I thought of, and possibly a culturally appropriative video for it, but that was it. I at least remembered it had something to do with "fire," but that's obviously not much to go on.

I took care of all my mail and such, but couldn't quite get all my claims done. We're all swamped right now. I got accepted into the Kelly fan page on FB, and still got no more signatures. Lots of Likes, but no signatures. Oh, well.

I messaged with Megan, and she's decided not to come down for the holidays. I was going to let her know that if Colleen had no other plans, she was welcome here, but there's just so much to navigate there. Tim wants to do just us, and Colleen has some sort of friendly relationship with Jared, so there's like a reverse-custody situation of sorts. Easier to just leave it all off.

Conversation with Josh was a little awkward. He flirted with a girl years ago, maybe going so far as to "emotionally cheat," but came clean, tried to make amends.... And his wife started literally living with another man, but still stringing him along. Or something. So divorce is the next step. I was going to just message Paul, but Josh is also unemployed, so I looked into pro bono or reduced rate divorce attorneys.

Tim called after work, amazed that I'm cutting back on booze. I thought he was going to visit, and need to do a lot of picking up before anyone comes over again, but he had a killer tension headache and was just calling to check in.

I drank a pot of coffee and a half, but still found myself exhausted early in the evening. I've had worse.
