You Turned Down What?

Had my Dr. appointment in the afternoon, so spent the morning getting cleaned up. I've seen Dr. Lonergan before, and he won't let me swab myself. Honestly, I'm grateful he looked at my chart. It's been over a year since I've had anything but STD screenings done - no numbers, no pap, no cell counts, nothing. I'm terrible at taking care of myself, and when I have to request time with an overburdened staff....if he hadn't said "hey, when was the last time you got your numbers done?" I still wouldn't have. I'm terrible at taking care of myself.

I had a couple things I was supposed to go to in the evening - Hal wanted me to come over for a business presentation, and Scott was having a BBQ. I happened to see Todd on Grindr, all of 600 ft from me. I resisted the urge to get my crazy on him, to find out if he was at Ken's (Ken is less than 600 ft away, anyway). But I did ask him to go to Rich's. I was very very surprised when he said yes. He was at a house party, but would go later. Big Eric and Jonathan met me there. Rich's was messy, as it always is these days. Five Dollar was there, but wasted. I was drunk enough to want to look after him, but kept losing everyone else. Todd left early in the night, Richard Britton tried to rip off my nipples, then hit on some other boy. The high point of the night was getting a text from FHA which said, in more eloquent terms, that he missed my Columbia.

Big Eric was hungry after, so we went to La Fuente. The line was long, the people were drunk, and I didn't want to wait forever, so I left. A handsome black gent named Fabian followed me out.
