Appointments, Round 2

Spent most of my day in my jammies. Daniel came by. Given that he was several months late, he gave me a few extra, and some garlic. He had just eaten a bunch of it, which made conversing with him slightly awkward.

I was supposed to go to a fundraiser for "United." I'm still not sure what that is, but I wasn't up to it, and I generally don't go to fundraisers with cover charges. I'd promised Tim I would meet him and his classmate Jackie at Wine Steals in Point Loma at 6. There was no parking there, though, so I parked down the street and walked. Saw Leigh and Don, a couple I hooked up with a while back. They asked me to come over again, and I'd love to, once things are better.

Tim was about 20 min late. He got a glass of wine, a pizza, and a bottle of sparkling water. He wanted to make guesses about what to do differently on the exam. I tried not to be sour with him, and was mildly successful. Jackie texted she was on her way at 6:40, and when I finally had to leave at 7:10, she still hadn't shown up. I felt bad leaving him, but really, having been a last minute addition to the evening, at least he wasn't sitting alone for an hour while he was waiting for her.

Matt and his bf had rescheduled playtime from last Friday to tonight. I almost tapped out again - wasn't feeling well, stomach wasn't cooperating. I'm glad I didn't, really. By the time I got there the other boys were fairly squeaked. Jeremy, the not very attractive 4th guy, I'd seen around town. The bed wasn't really big enough for the 4 of us, especially considering flailing drunk people, so I occasionally went to the other room with one or the other.

Tim texted when I got out, explaining that Jackie had stopped to take pictures of the eclipse. That is a completely understandable reason to be over an hour late, as that takes forever, and the sky is not visible from Point Loma.
