Donna Summer

Had plans for the day, but a headache waylaid me in the morning. I managed to log in to Facebook long enough to see that Donna Summer passed away. I guess she'd been battling breast cancer for years. The tributes, the commentary, the analyses were really touching. Not, I suppose, that it matters to her at this point.

Headache got worse - thought maybe I was dehydrated, or it was sinus pressure, or something. It was all I could do after my shower to grab 3 ibuprofen and pass out in bed still wearing my towel. Maybe it was a baby migraine? I was all light and sound sensitive, but I didn't throw up or anything.

Woke up around 5:30, sweating, but with a reduced intensity headache. Could have maybe still made it to the "Boylesque" auditions, but I can't fathom I would have made a very good showing. Having slept all day, I wasn't able to do anything that night.
